Out of all of the mini lessons the charcoal drawing was the hardest because making all of the shades blend was hard and if you touched it slightly as you were working t would smudge and get charcoal everywhere. The easiest of the mini lessons to me was the expressive furniture because the idea was creative but the art was basic. I Developed My Art Making Skills: During the charcoal mini lesson I learned how to use the new medium charcoal and how to make the shades blend to make a better looking piece of art. During the expressive furniture mini lesson I gained more skills with using a pencil to add shading and to pull and push the shade of the shadows. While using the charcoal I learned better how to move the shade of an object and how to add highlights and a light source to make the after picture turn out well and realistic. I Communicate Through My Work: During the expressive furniture mini lesson this was the whole entire meaning of it to show emotions without works but with your art work. Mine specifically was meant to depict a sad expression through the picture because the stool broke and had fallen down and it was sad that that happened. This drawing represents me because allot of different things can happen in the world that are either small or big and people don't notice them and with this painting it shows the sadness in the world that people don't see or overlook but to some people it means allot .
